GLOBAL BIRD WEEKEND
Birders across the globe are joining together October 8–10 to support bird conservation efforts. There will be a bird count on the 9th, birding competitions for individuals and teams, and fundraising initiatives. Learn more here.

WINGS OVER HOUSTON AIRSHOW
One of the top air shows in the United States, this premier Houston event held Oct. 9–10 is dedicated to showcasing vintage World War II aircraft, along with the thrills of modern aviation, and has supported a variety of local and national charities during its 37-year history. HARVEST FEST

HAUNTED HOUSE
Fire Station 4 is back this year with their annual Haunted House on Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. This FREE event is recommended for children 12+ (kids under 12 at parent’s discretion), and parental supervision is required. The firehouse is located at 175 W. Bay Area Blvd.

DAY OF THE DOG
Trick-or-treat your way along the sidewalk from Helen Hall Library to League City Animal Care, then enjoy a costume contest, sugar skull crafts, vendors, food trucks, and more.
