GLOBAL BIRD WEEKEND
Birders across the globe are joining together October 8–10 to support bird conservation efforts. There will be a bird count on the 9th, birding competitions for individuals and teams, and fundraising initiatives. Learn more here.
WINGS OVER HOUSTON AIRSHOW
One of the top air shows in the United States, this premier Houston event held Oct. 9–10 is dedicated to showcasing vintage World War II aircraft, along with the thrills of modern aviation, and has supported a variety of local and national charities during its 37-year history.
