Fall Migration

Fall Birding

League City is a hot spot during fall bird migration in Texas, which begins as early as July and lasts through November. Birds can migrate from as far as the Artic tundra, and travel down south as far as southern Brazil.

To celebrate this momentous trek, League City created the Fall Feathers Challenge which highlighted some of Fall's Migratory birds you can find during the season.

Grab your maps and go!

Take the challenge! Visit Clear Creek Nature Center (1220 Egret Bay Blvd) anytime between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with your map to find the hidden birdhouses.

Gather the Cards

Gather all seven cards for your collection!

Our birdhouses have hidden doors! Open each one and you'll find individual cards inside. Gather one of each card and remember to hold onto them for the grand prize!

Claim Your Prize

We have a winner!

Take your collected cards to the Helen Hall Library! They have more exciting activities planned and you can take home your prize of League City feather stickers.
