Helen's Garden

701 E Main St, League City, TX

One of the most scenic locations in all of League City, Helen’s Garden features beautiful flowers, bubbling waterfalls, fountains, and benches. Famous throughout Bay Area Houston for its scenery, Helen’s Garden is a favorite location amongst photographers, and an ideal place for wedding photos, family photos, or just a beautiful selfie.

This beautiful garden was developed by Walter Hall in memory of his wife, Helen, in 1994. Helen Hall was the city’s first female postmaster, helped establish the city’s first library, and was a charter member of the League City Garden Club.

Helen's Garden sits on the remaining 1.7 acres of Butler Ranch, which was established in 1875 by George Washington Butler. GW Butler planted the beautiful Live Oaks–called Butler Oaks–seen today in Helen's Garden, lining Main Street and Wilkins Street.
