Public Art Displays
League City's new public art initiative kicked off with the live painting of a "mini mural" in May 2021. Check out the murals at League Park in League City's beautiful Historic District, along with the mini-murals painted on utility boxes at intersections throughout the city. There are many more public art projects ahead in the coming months, so check back often for updates.

WATCH: Plein Air Painting in League City
In January, 2022 Plein Air painters with the Outdoor Painters Society came to League City from across Texas to paint our beautiful sites and landmarks. The French term "Plein Air" means “out of doors” and refers to the practice of painting an entire finished picture outside. Give it a try! There are lots of beautiful places to paint throughout League City.
